How do I find my passion?

I get this question all the time!:) Too many people are trapped in work scenarios that just aren’t fulfilling – but they’re too scared to step out. In this video, I give you the most common reasons why people struggle along with a series of power packed questions designed to help you get clear about what brings you joy.

HW Journal Questions:

  • What do you really love to share?
  • What are the things that come easily to you?
  • What are the things that others often look to you to provide?
  • If you had 6 months to live and knew that anything was possible – what would you be doing?
  • If you knew you couldn’t get it wrong, what would you try?

How do I find my purpose?

When I’m in these conversations, especially now, I’m talking to people who may not come from a history of of being on the front lines and being engaged. But they see what’s going on in the world and they’re asking themselves, “What can I do?” In this video, I talk about the 3 main reasons why people get stuck and give you a recipe for how you can do it your way.

  • What do you value?
    • What are the principles and convictions you live by?
    • And how do those convictions guide where you live, what you consume, how you build relationships, how you leverage resources?
  • What are you here to bring?
    • What are the unique talents, gifts, and abilities that you’ve been given to share with the world?
  • What are you here to affect?
    • What do you feel most called to change, create, re-imagine, discover, innovate and or transform in the world?
    • What are the challenges and/or opportunities facing humanity that you most want to engage?

How do I make my passion and my purpose profitable?

There are a number of factors that go into creating a profitable strategy but at a fundamental level, it begins with creating a compelling Vision for the difference you want to make and from that creating, an equally compelling Value Proposition. In this video, I take you through the framework for creating a compelling proposition and show you how to bring real value to the marketplace.

  • BENEFICIAL: What is the primary offer you want to make?
    • In what specific way does it contain the most powerful combination of your talents gifts and abilities that you seek to share with the world?
    • In what specific way does it improve the quality of a person and/or organization’s life or experience?
  • DISTINCT: In what way is your primary offer different from what may already exist?
    • The three areas where one usually distinguishes is in the What, the How and the Who – which area are you distinguishing in?
    • In what specific ways does your offering bring something innovative and new?
  • COMPELLING: In what way is your primary offering drawing on all of the things that make people want and need it NOW?
    • For your ideal customer, how is your offering timely, relevant, and easily accessible?
    • What are they getting with you that they can’t get anywhere else?
