Let’s Get Paid – The Art of Making Money and Having An Impact
Time: 12-1pm (11:30am registration)
When we are passionate about making a difference in the world the last thing many of us want to deal with is money – making money, raising money, having money or even creating a compelling vision for the role it can play in forwarding our desired impact. Whether we are entrepreneurs, corporate executives or organizational leaders, so many of us have been conditioned to believe that the good we want to do in the world belongs in the charitable column “over there” while the business we do “in the real world” belongs over here. And it’s these distorted notions of money, power and contribution that can often keep many of us from achieving our full potential. How do we confront and understand our relationship with money? How do we develop viable visions and strategies that move us out of default and deficit based thinking? Can we forge a new and more abundant vision for our lives and the change we want to be in the world? And if we can, what will it take to really deliver on our passion and our profit? There is an art and science to getting paid while making a difference in the lives of others – find out how every single one of us can achieve it.
This will be an interactive keynote discussion with Q&A!

So many leaders set out with the best intentions and often struggle not only with the difference they want to make but also, with how that difference manifests inside of their daily lives. What are the 3 most important aspects of your work as a Change Agent (personal growth, leadership development, social impact strategy)? How do you approach the work in a way that is loving, compassionate and mindful? How do you distinguish between “good work” vs. “your work?” And what are the most important elements for building a viable and sustainable social impact strategy? Finally, what does it really mean to BE the change?
